The Technology I am researching is LCD. LCD is liquid crystal display. It displays colors and pictures in monochrome pixels and liquid crystals. The LCD was developed in 1963 at RCA’s Sarnoff Research Center in Princeton, New Jersey. We can find this technology in TV’s, Gaming Devices, Listening Devices, Computers, Laptops, etc. I own a Laptop that uses an LCD screen display. LCD is mainly used for high definition display of colors and pictures. The LCD is also used for displaying small features on watches such as numbers in black and white. I think this technology will still be used 10 years from now because it already involves in alot of high tech equipment. But I think as time passes, people will use LCD to make better products for a better life.

Question #1 – How is technology used in education? (overall)
Technology is used in education because at a certain point in our lives, we will get a job that has to use any form of technology.
Question #2 – How do you personally use technology in aiding your learning at NJIS (during school, homework, etc)?
I use technology for internet information for projects and assignments.
Question #3 – Does technology improve your education or create more complexity (therefore becoming a negative aspect)?
It inproves my technology because most computers have dictionaries and encyclopedias and it saves time looking for the information in our books that we normally use.
